What data is collected?

This is a static website that does not collect personal data from users and does not require registration. The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for visitor statistics. This is a cookieless, privacy-focused analytics solution that does not store personal data or link users to other services.

Our service provider (Cloudflare) also collects technical log data such as IP addresses and request timestamps for site operation and security. These logs are managed by Cloudflare and the site administrator has no direct access to them.

Location data — the "My location" feature

When you use the Search page's "My location" feature, your browser asks for permission to share your location. The location is processed only locally in your own browser — it is not sent to the Playground Finder server or any third party, and it is not stored anywhere.

The site uses your location solely to calculate distances to nearby places. You can revoke the permission at any time from your browser settings.

Cookies

The site does not set its own cookies. The Cloudflare service may set technical security cookies (e.g. __cf_bm) to protect the site from bot attacks. These cookies do not track users and do not link information from other services.

Links to external services

Place detail pages include an embedded Google Maps map and links to Google Maps. When you click these, you are taken to Google's service and the Google privacy policy applies.

Children's privacy

The site is aimed at parents and other adults looking for places for children. We do not collect data from or about children as users.
