Korpikeidas Animal Forest

An approximately four-hectare fenced animal forest located in Joutseno, Lappeenranta, next to the Myllymäki ski resort. The area has about a hundred small animals roaming free and larger animals in their own enclosures, and the free-roaming animals can be fed with a bread bag purchased from the café. Among the residents are chickens and rabbits of different breeds, turkeys, peacocks, guinea pigs, goats, sheep, alpacas, and doves. The forest also has giant trampolines and a small play area for children. The animal forest is open daily during the summer, and ticket sales and the forest gate key are handled at the nearby Korpikeidas café about 600 meters away.
