Jaakko Ilka Playground

A playground in Ilmajoki designed on the basis of children's wishes. The park's special feature is local history, as it is dedicated to a leader of the Cudgel War and posts gather information about him and the peasant's story. In this way play combines naturally with learning history, and children also took part in designing the park back then. The play equipment offers activities for different ages, and the communal spirit makes the place pleasant. A distinctive local destination that stands out from an ordinary playground.
