Rataskatu Animal Corner

An open and free nature experience place located in the forest in the Jouppi neighborhood of Seinäjoki, in the Alakylä industrial area. The corner is maintained by a neighborhood community, and the place has been made possible by local businesses. The residents are sheep and feathered friends such as mute swans, who wait to be petted. The area has a campfire site for grilling sausages. During the grazing season, there is free access to the area guided by signs, and the terrain is wooded and uneven. A small but sympathetic communal destination.
