Hiidenniemi Farm

A farm located in Kutemajärvi, Kangasniemi, in South Savo, by Lake Härkäjärvi, whose petting zoo is a destination for the whole family. The residents include roosters and chickens, rabbits, sheep, peacocks, ducks, quails, a horse and a pony, as well as dogs. Activities include pony care and lead riding as well as an animal care day, and programs are tailored for visitors and groups by separate reservation. Near the farm is a log lean-to, whose logs have been reused from the farm center's old shed, and from there hikers can enjoy a snack break in nature's embrace. The farm also has high-quality log cabins by Lake Härkäjärvi for accommodation.
