Kilkkilä Farm

Kilkkilä Farm is a petting zoo located in Vuolenkoski, Iitti. The selection of animals is exceptionally wide: alpacas, ostriches up to 2.8 meters tall, peacocks, reindeer, donkeys, miniature horses, Shetland ponies, sheep, rabbits, parrots, and many rare chicken breeds. For children there is a bouncy castle, horse carousel, pedal cars, and pedal tractors as well as a playground. Treats for the animals can be purchased from the staff. The grill café serves burgers made from the farm's own beef and ostrich meat, and the farm shop sells farm products. Visitors can bring their own snacks, and gas grills are available. The location about 130 km from the capital region is well suited for day trips from the directions of Lahti, Heinola, and Kouvola.
