Kettumäki Folk Park

A folk park located on a hill on the west bank of the Kymijoki River in Kuusankoski, Kouvola, in the area of the former workers' housing museum. The area is maintained by an association that has renovated old museum buildings, established a small café, and built a petting zoo in the yard. The summer residents of the petting zoo are sheep, rabbits, chickens, and roosters, and over the years goats and reindeer have also been seen in the area. Admission is free. The area has reed constructions demonstrating the use of natural materials in building, as well as a grill hut that can be reserved separately. There is a sandbox with toys for children, and the folk park offers a peaceful and family-friendly destination near the city center.
