Ranua Resort Wildlife Park

Ranua Wildlife Park is the world's northernmost zoo, presenting over 50 Arctic species in spacious natural forest enclosures. Polar bears, wolverines, lynx, moose and reindeer are among the most popular residents, alongside a children's petting area. The 3-kilometre wooden boardwalk loop is fully accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Winter visits combine well with northern lights tours and cabin stays at the adjoining Ranua Resort. Several restaurants, cafés and play areas line the route. The park lies about an hour's drive south of Rovaniemi, making it an easy day trip from Lapland's main hub.
