Kanavapuisto Playground

A renovated and popular playground by a river near a bridge in Joensuu. The park's special feature is a play structure modelled on a former girls' school, where you can climb and slide, bringing a piece of local history to play. There is also balancing on a wave shape and swings where you can swing alone or together. The playground's base is artificial sand turf, and a picnic table has been added to the lawn for snack breaks. The fenced and lit park is in a beautiful spot by the river. A pleasant local destination where play can be combined with riverside scenery.
