Kaijonharju Central Playground

A central playground in the Kaijonharju district of Oulu near the shore of Lake Kuivasjärvi, with plenty to do for children of different ages. The park has board, baby and flower swings, two different slides, a zip line, a climbing frame and a ball field. The open area offers plenty of space for running around and self-directed play, and a large tree rising in the middle brings its own atmosphere to the surroundings. The location is calm, as only a cycle path leading to Kuivasjärvi runs alongside. The proximity of the lake makes the site an appealing outing spot where play can be combined with shore scenery. The versatile whole serves both small and older players.
