Haukkapuisto

A renovated central playground in the Kaukovainio district of Oulu, popular among local families. The park has a large climbing frame with quirky figures, and among the play structures there is also a family swing that fits several at once. On the other side of the cycle path is a separate balance and climbing course, which brings extra challenge to movement. There is also a hill nearby for sledding in winter. Kaukovainio is a green forest suburb whose parks and play opportunities have been improved in recent years. The versatile and renovated whole makes the park a pleasant outing destination for both small and older children.
