Iisalmi Traffic Park

A free traffic park on the Luuniemi peninsula in Iisalmi, aimed at primary-school-age children, where kids can practise traffic rules in pedal cars or as pedestrians under instructor guidance. A distinctive feature is a pedal train with level crossings and signal lights, setting the park apart from most other traffic parks. The grounds also include a well-equipped playground with swings and climbing equipment. Outside opening hours the playground is open for self-directed play, and the park's roads can be used with your own bicycle. The park is open from May to August. A solid outing destination in the calm Luuniemi neighbourhood.
