Kuopio Wildlife Park

Kuopion Eläinpuisto is a small zoo in Hiltulanlahti, about 15 kilometres south of central Kuopio, where children can meet both Finnish farm animals and a variety of species from around the world. Residents include a camel, alpacas, ponies, goats, sheep, ducks and rabbits, along with birds and small reptiles. A visit takes about 1–2 hours and suits younger and primary-school-aged children especially well. A café, play area and picnic spots are on site. Parking is free and arrival is typically by car, as public transport to the area is limited.
