Pelle Hermanni Playground

Pelle Hermanni Playground is a well-known outdoor playground on Kirjurinluoto island in Pori, themed around the Finnish clown character Pelle Hermanni and the circus. The area features colourful climbing structures, slides, swings, sandboxes and a water play zone. It is best suited to children aged 2–10 but offers fun for bigger kids too. The wider Kirjurinluoto park area also includes a café, disc golf course, swimming beach and open lawns for picnics. The playground is free and accessible on foot or by bike from central Pori via the Kirjurinluoto bridge. Parking is available around the edges of the island.
