Rantapuisto Playground

Rantapuiston leikkipuisto is a playground in the Rantapuisto park on the shore of Lake Tuusulanjärvi in central Järvenpää. Equipment covers a wide age range, so the area works for toddlers and primary-school kids alike. The wider Rantapuisto also hosts Tervanokka sandy beach, a skate park, free-use outdoor sports facilities and a senior outdoor gym, plus a restaurant, café, boat dock and a winter ice rink. Walking distance from the railway station makes the spot a natural stop for a Helsinki-area day trip. Paved cycle and pedestrian paths through the park make it easy to move around with strollers.
