Ketola Ostrich Farm

Finland's largest ostrich farm located in Rajamäki, Nurmijärvi. The farm has trained a large portion of the country's ostrich farmers, and the farm is home to dozens of ostriches, the largest of which is a bird nearly three meters tall and about 200 kilograms. The farm visit is conducted with a guide, and groups are offered a ride around the enclosures in an off-road transport wagon. The farm's café and restaurant serve ostrich egg ice cream and ostrich meat products, and the farm shop offers products from ostrich meat, leather, eggs, oil, and feathers. Open to individual visitors during the summer season, and for groups year-round by agreement.
