Kvartsijuonpuisto Playground

A distinctive and themed playground built into a former sand pit in the Kivistö district of Vantaa. The area divides into three differently characterised spaces, each with its own theme: an oasis, a quicksand land and adventure dunes. The oasis has a resting spot, lush vegetation and a shallow wading pool, while the quicksand land is more rugged and open. A water-play point with pumps allows building dams and floating bark boats, and the area also has a musical instrument and natural-style play structures. The original and stimulating whole stands out from an ordinary playground and offers experiences for different ages.
