Mäki-Matti Family Park

Mäki-Matti Family Park is a city-run family park near central Jyväskylä that has become a popular meeting place for families with young children. The park offers varied playgrounds, small farm animals such as rabbits and chickens, sandboxes and open lawns. An indoor family café gives parents a warm spot to sit while children continue to play. The site is best suited to children aged 0–8 visiting with their families. Use is free and restrooms with nappy-changing facilities are on site. The Mäki-Matti location about a kilometre from central Jyväskylä makes the park easy to reach on foot or by bike.
