Haiharanpuisto

A playground in the Kaukajärvi district of Tampere, known for its large ship-shaped play structure. A tall castle, a surfboard feature and big elements offer activities for older children too, and a football pitch is next door. The park's surroundings are scenic, as it sits near two ponds, a river and the shore of Lake Kaukajärvi. Benches, tables and shelters are available for snack breaks, and Riihiniemi beach is about two hundred metres away. An outdoor route circling Lake Kaukajärvi offers beautiful lake views, so a visit can be combined with a longer trip. The ship theme makes the park a favourite among children.
