Vartiovuori Playground

A renovated and fenced playground in a historic park on Vartiovuori Hill near the centre of Turku. The park is on a slope, which brings its own challenge to movement for the youngest, and there are climbing frames, swings and slides. Right beside it are a wading pool in use in summer and an outdoor fitness spot for adults, so the whole family finds something to do. A historic observatory rises nearby, and the area has a museum quarter and a summer theatre. The stunning setting and central location make the park a favourite among families.
