Koiramäki Animal Park

Koiramäki Animal Park is a small farm zoo within Särkänniemi in Tampere, built around the world of author Mauri Kunnas's Koiramäki children's books. Visitors meet traditional Finnish farm animals such as cows, goats, sheep, rabbits and chickens in a warm, old-fashioned setting. The park is especially popular with younger children, for whom the farm animals are often a trip highlight. A visit typically takes 30–60 minutes and combines well with the wider Särkänniemi area. Entry is included with a Särkänniemi day pass or available as a separate Koiramäki ticket.
