Emil Aaltosen puisto Playground

Emil Aaltosen puiston leikkipaikka sits in the Tammela district of Tampere, directly opposite Tammelantori market square. The playground has been renovated as an accessible play space, with equipment designed for children with mobility and visual impairments but suitable for all kids. The surface is artificial-turf safety tile, and a ramp leads into the sandbox. Equipment includes a wheelchair-accessible multi-play structure, a snake swing, a group swing, carousels and a xylophone. A guide board in braille greets visitors at the entrance. The fenced grounds and a large round sand pitch are flooded into a skating rink in winter. The Tammelantori market food stalls are just across the street.
