Brahenpuisto

Brahenpuisto is a family park on the shore of Kuopionlahti bay in central Kuopio, also known as Pikku Kakkonen park. Equipment includes a playhouse, a maze, climbing frames, swings and a parkour court, suiting visitors from toddlers to school-age kids. The grounds also include a covered picnic area, with an ice cream kiosk and swimming beach right next door. In winter the gentle slope draws sledders. The park is part of Kuopio's National Urban Park, with open views over Lake Kallavesi. Its location next to Väinölänniemi and the 80-year-old linden alley along Brahenkatu makes it an easy stop on a city-centre stroll.
