Passenger Harbour Playground

A playground beside the passenger-harbour pier in central Kuopio, where play can be combined with a harbour atmosphere. The park's special feature is a ship-shaped climbing frame that works nicely as a stage for pirate play. During play you can watch the busy boat traffic and listen to the foghorns of arriving and departing ships. Nearby there are a harbour restaurant, ice-cream kiosks and a lakeside promenade, so a visit can be combined with other pastimes. An atmospheric and different local destination right by the water.
