Vennynpuisto

Vennynpuisto is a playground next to the Kuninkaantammi residential area in the Hakuninmaa district of Helsinki. Climbing takes centre stage: a curved earth bank is fitted with slides and serves as the spine of a wide network of adventure and rope-climbing courses, alongside a 360-degree swing that moves in every direction. The middle of the park has a sandbox world with toy diggers, and within it a water-play area shaped like a treehouse village runs through the summer months. Picnic tables and an outdoor grill are set up for visitors bringing food, and the slope has tiered seating doubling as a small stage. The park suits toddlers and primary schoolers, and is recommended for older kids too because of the climbing challenges.
