Laurinniitty Playground

A playground in the calm low-rise residential heart of the Lassila district of Helsinki, equipped with castle-themed equipment, mostly made of wood. The main attraction is a large climbing castle, with standout features including a giant wooden swing big enough for an adult and several smaller play castles. A functional sandbox, a sand sports pitch with football goals, a basketball hoop, floorball equipment and a ping pong table give kids of different ages plenty to do. The yard is only partly fenced but spacious and green — the shade from old trees offers welcome relief on hot summer days.
