A guided playground in the wooden-house area of the Käpylä district of Helsinki, one of the city's oldest still-operating playgrounds. The large fenced yard holds plenty of players, and there is a separate fenced area for the youngest. Besides play equipment the park has a wading pool in summer, a ball field and a skating rink in winter, and the indoor spaces offer play options year-round. Mornings are time for families with small children, and in the afternoons the spaces focus on activities for schoolchildren. The long history shows in that its visitors now span several generations. An atmospheric and traditional local destination in a wooden-house setting.
