Linnanmäki is Finland's most popular amusement park, located in the Alppila district of Helsinki and operating since 1950, with profits funding child welfare work. The park has over 40 rides, ranging from fast roller coasters to gentle attractions for toddlers, with a dedicated Children's World area for ages 1–7. Restaurants, arcades and the adjacent Sea Life aquarium round out the experience. Entry to the park itself is free, while rides are paid. The central location is easily reached by tram or bus from the city centre.
