Tropicario Tropical Zoo

Tropicario is a tropical indoor zoo in the Alppila district of Helsinki, presenting over a hundred species of reptiles, amphibians and insects. Regular residents include crocodiles, large snakes, iguanas, frogs and spiders, with many species visible at close range. A visit typically takes 30–60 minutes and works well as a rainy or cold day option. The site suits curious visitors of all ages, although it may not appeal to those uncomfortable with snakes or spiders. Information panels and a small museum shop are on site. The location right next to Linnanmäki on Sturenkatu makes it easy to combine with a visit to the amusement park or Sea Life.
