Viiri Playground

Leikkipuisto Viiri is a playground at the edge of Tilkanniitty meadow in Pikku Huopalahti, designed around ideas from local children. The yard features a so-called Play Street with swings, a mountain bike track, climbing frames, a large lawn and a wading pool. The small-child area is fenced, and older kids find challenges in the sand pitch with a shooting wall and football goals, plus an outdoor fitness corner. The red cottage-style main building, an amphitheatre and the adjacent Korppaanoja pond with a jetty create an unusually charming atmosphere. Cherry and crabapple trees line the edges. The nearest tram stop is about 300 metres away.
