Kannelmäki Playground

Leikkipuisto Kannelmäki is a City of Helsinki playground near Kannelmäki church, set in a natural setting. The fenced yard has sandboxes, swings and assorted climbing frames as standard, plus a separate small-child section, a basketball hoop, football goals on a sand pitch and floorball equipment. In winter the pitch is flooded into a small skating rink. Summers bring water play with sprays and pumps. Public transport links are strong, and several gravel paths lead in from different directions, so the park is reachable on foot from anywhere in Kannelmäki.
