Hilleri Playground

A leafy, guided playground near a metro station in the Länsi-Herttoniemi district of Helsinki. Besides sandboxes, swings, a slide and climbing frames, the site has a separate fenced yard for small children, a basketball hoop, a sand field, a ping pong table, a skate and scooter area and a water-play area. The forested park, built around a garden theme, also has a kitchen garden and a wooden polecat sculpture as a mascot. On weekdays guided indoor and outdoor activities are organised for children and pre-teens. A versatile and pleasant local destination near good connections.
