Myllynsiipi Playground

A versatile playground amid nature and rock in the Myllypuro district of Helsinki, its yard shaded by large pines. The grounds are divided into areas for children of different ages, and the part for younger ones is surrounded by rock. A fenced artificial turf pitch, a rope course, a basketball hoop and floorball goals suit older children's play. On hot summer days the yard's water sprays are in use, and a suspension bridge on the rocky slope awaits those seeking adventure. Forest paths are found near the park, and the indoor space offers ample room for play. The walk to the Myllypuro metro station is about half a kilometre, making arrival easy.
