Filpus Playground

A renovated playground in the Ala-Malmi district of Helsinki, whose scenic core idea is an adventurous nature theme. In the green and undulating terrain there are climbing frames, swings, a carousel, spring riders and balance buttons, complemented by a large sandbox with wooden nature-themed equipment. The area also has a restored wading pool and a game arena with throwing baskets. Indoor facilities operate beside the park and enable activity inside too. The park's services tie into the skate and local-exercise areas of nearby Longinojanpuisto, which broadens the range of activities. The mainly wooden equipment fits the area's nature theme well.
