Tervapääskynpuisto

A renovated area park in the Tapaninvainio district of Helsinki, with separate play areas for small and older children. For the youngest there are swings, climbing frames and a sandbox plus their own cycling track, and a colourful scooter area has been built on the site of a former wading pool. For older children a small adventure forest has been established, where you climb and balance on rope-built courses. Outdoor exercise equipment has been brought in for adults, and an asphalt basketball spot has been made at the edge of the sand pitch. In winter a small skating rink is flooded in the park weather permitting. The versatile whole serves different ages year-round.
