Tikkurilanranta playground is a themed playground on the Tikkurila riverbank in Vantaa, built around the "Kaislikossa suhisee" concept — Finnish for the rustle of reeds. The theme runs through the park's structures, equipment and colour palette, drawing inspiration from the surrounding riverside nature. The yard has a dedicated water-play area, giving kids plenty to do on warm days. The site sits within a short walk of the Heureka science centre and the Tiedepuisto area, making it a logical stop on a day out. An old villa, Åvik, once stood on the site. Vantaa train station is close by, so reaching the park by train is easy.
